Twins??

I had created this picture since year2sem1, a picture of my Morphology lecturer, Mr P.A and a national badminton men's double specialist, Choong Tan Fook. LOL!
The first day i met my Morpho lecturer, i was shocked. In my heart, "Why is this man looks like Choong Tan Fook? omggg..." After the class, i sms my baddy girlfriend and she told me that her lecturer, a Singh, had a voice like David Beckham!! -.-lll.

The similarities that i found between PA and Tan Fook were, their
short and bushy "army HAIRSTYLE," their eyes, the way they smile, their cheekbones, bushy eyebrows, even the shape of their face.

However, the difference was, Tan Fook is not fluent in English while Mr. PA speaks very good English with his favourite quote, "It is for you to find out, *wink*"

Well... below is a picture of the "twin brothers," can you spot the similarities?? Bwahahaha...

Baby Chloe

Q My friend had invited me to her baby girl's 1st birthday party at Sentul Boulevard Pizza Hut on June 29. The party started at 3pm, there were so many food made by my friend's mother, i love the agar-agar very much, yummmm... and of course pizza with mushroom soup.
I wrote something to Chloe and i know she doesn't understands now, but she will understand later when she grows up... Here it goes,

The house fills with joy and energy,
Hearing various sounds of "gaga, gugu and gigi,"
Seeing her walks and started calling daddy and mummy,
But when she pees and cries,
She will make mama feel dizzy.

Her sweet smile brightens the whole family,
Giving spring and autumn to everybody,
Healthy, beautiful, active little girl,
Where her mama calls her Princess Chloe.

Her first birthday was celebrated on 2008 June 29,
Thanks "Your Highness" for inviting me,
You can call me jiejie rather than calling me auntie,
Coz jiejie wants to be young and lovely. (HaHa ><)"

Homemade Pineapple Cookies!

Just started my new semester and today is my off day, no class on every Wednesday, yippyy!! Study 2 days, break 1 day and study 2 days again, not bad lah this timetable, heheh. The worst is Thursday, till 5.30pm, I don't think my neighbour will stay in his office till that late, guess i am gonna wait for the bus in this jam pack hour, deng ~ ~

Anyway, I helped my mum to made her favourite cookie - Pineapple cookies in the afternoon, but i only helped in rolling the pineapple jam and that is not a piece of cake, because you have to roll in a certain size to fit the pastry, if not the pastry will break and burn, lol. =D

Random American Idol 2008 pictures

It was the best American Idol Finale to me after watching for so many seasons. Both finalists were strong contenders, I support Cook but Archuleta sang 3 great songs in the final, especially his second song - "In This Moment." But overall, Cook shows his varieties with 3 different tunes and styles of songs that won him the title, bravo David Cook!!

Some of the pictures taken from the web during the finale...

EXIT INTERVIEWS: DAVID COOK

David_cook3_1Newest idol was prepared to win
          By JOEY GUERRA

David Cook won the American Idol crown three days ago, but the Houston-born rocker is already making a considerable real-world splash.

The songs he performed during this week's two-part finale — U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, Collective Soul's The World I Know and originals The Time of My Life and Dream Big — held the top four slots Thursday on iTunes.

Cook's Risky Business-inspired Guitar Hero commercial has racked up more than 300,000 views on YouTube. And that's small change compared to the YouTube numbers for his Idol performances of Billie Jean (4 million) and Always Be My Baby (3 million).

"It doesn't feel bad," Cook said Friday. "I can't believe the level of support that has come out of me doing this crazy TV show."

He'll likely start recording a debut album between dates on the summer-long American Idols Live! Tour, which brings the top 10 contestants to Houston Aug. 24 at Toyota Center.

Along with his forthcoming album, Cook talked about ZZ Top and connecting with Mariah Carey:Davidcookanalogheart_1

Q: Did you feel good about your chances of winning going into the finale?

A: I'd worked as hard as time would allow. You've got to prepare for the best but expect the worst. That's pretty much how I operate. I made sure that I was prepared to win. Archie (runner-up David Archuleta) did a great job. I definitely thought if you were basing it off Tuesday that he deserved to win.

Q: How cool was it to be part of "that little old band from Texas" — ZZ Top — during finale night?

A: Those guys were so nice. They made it so fun and so easy. I couldn't have asked for a better scenario. Hopefully somewhere down the road, we can do something fun like that again.

Q: What can we expect from your first album?

A: I think it's going to be a mixture of my writing and hopefully writing with some other people. I just want to come out of the gate with a solid record. Ideal release date is as soon as possible. It'll probably be a rock record, but I think that's a pretty vague generalization. I just want to make a record that's going to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

Q: How did you approach unlikely theme artists — Mariah Carey, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson — and turn their songs into relatable moments as a performer?

A: Debbie, our stage manager, hung up (an article) in the red room about midway through the season. It talked about Frank Sinatra and how he would go about the song process. Before he listened to music, he would read the lyrics and basically try to tune into what the song was about. That was a really eye-opening article.

With the Mariah Carey song (Always Be My Baby), I loved that the lyrics had a little bit of longing in them, but that it was still packaged as an upbeat song. That was a very natural transition, just to slow it down a little bit and get the music to tune in just a bit more to the vibe of the lyrics. That was probably the biggest lesson I learned throughout the show.

Q: Your younger brother, Andrew, convinced you to audition after he failed to make the cut. Any plans to collaborate?

A: I've left the option open. I know he wants to try to make his own way. I'll support him whatever he decides to do. But I wouldn't mind writing with him. I'm hoping to maybe get him out (on the tour) at least for a short stint, maybe like a week or so.

Q: What kind of advantage came from working the bar circuit, pre-Idol?

A: You get pretty humble playing shows to five people. Having that experience made the Idol experience all the sweeter. To go from one extreme to the other, you kind of appreciate the huge crowds. I definitely think my time (playing bars) was needed in order to have any form of success on the show.

Q: Cougars for Cook — and a few others — want to know: Why are you still single?

A: I have no idea. That's all I can say. (This answer is funny, haha. Well, Mr.Cook will never be single after this, lol.)

Q: Have you recovered from the excitement and the exhaustion?

A: Hopefully never.

Tears from American Idol winner

From OneNews May 23, 2008

Emo_dc Rocker David Cook won the coveted title of American Idol, dealing an unexpected but decisive defeat to a silken-voiced teenager, also named David, on the most popular US television show.

Cook, 25, who was tending bar and playing in a band before he auditioned for the singing competition, stood back to applaud rival David Archuleta, 17, and then bent over crying after host Ryan Seacrest said he had won by 12 million votes.
"This is amazing. Thank you," said the Blue Springs, Missouri, native, who in addition to being crowned this year's Idol will receive a recording contract.

In its seventh season, American Idol has grown from a cheesy summer talent show into a pop culture phenomenon that draws millions of viewers to News Corp's Fox network at least twice a week.

It has produced mega-stars from both winners and losers, including Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry.

This season, however, average audiences on the show have slipped from just over 30 million viewers last year to roughly 28 million this year, the second straight year of declines.

Nevertheless, the duelling Davids garnered a record 97.5 million votes between them, smashing the previous record by 23 million.

The contest was decided by a telephone and text-messaging vote in which Cook received 56% to Archuleta's 44%.

Throughout this year's months-long competition, Cook wowed both the show's viewers and judges with updated, rock versions of pop classics like Lionel Richie's "Hello" and Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."

On Tuesday night's show, however, the judges said the babyfaced Archuleta had outperformed Cook with his pitch-perfect renditions of John Lennon's "Imagine" and Elton John's "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me."

Acid-tongued judge Simon Cowell criticized Cook for choosing a song he had never performed before during his last chance to woo voters and called the evening a knockout by Archuleta.

Cook sang Collective Soul's "The World I Know" instead of reprising one of his best-loved performances of the season, as Archuleta did with "Imagine."

Simon apologises

But just before Seacrest announced the results on Wednesday, Cowell - in an unusual move for him - apologised for his comments from the previous evening.

"I went back home to watch it, it wasn't quite so clear cut as we called it," Cowell said, adding to Cook: "I will take this opportunity to apologize because I think I was verging on disrespectful with you. I don't think you deserved that."

Backstage, Cook said he didn't think Cowell's comments warranted an apology, though he was happy to receive it.

"An apology from Simon is a pretty rare gem," he said, adding that he had not expected to win the "Idol" title.

Also backstage, a giddy Archuleta was effusive in his praise of Cook.

"He's like my big brother," Archuleta said. "I have looked up to him since the beginning of this. I just feel so honoured to be standing next to Cook."

About 100,000 people auditioned for this year's "American Idol," which puts contestants through auditions and performances that showcase musical genres from musical theatre to country to pop.

Idol has also become a coveted forum for established artists to be seen.

Wednesday night's star-studded show at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles included performances by George Michael, Donna Summer, Seal, Underwood and Bryan Adams.

The "Davids" duel is the first time two male contestants have competed for the "Idol" title since Ruben Studdard defeated Clay Aiken in the show's second season in 2003.
However, a showdown between the two was widely anticipated as neither ever landed among the show's bottom three vote-getters on the weekly broadcasts in which contestants are whittled down before one is sent home.

Under Cowell's deal with Fox, he has the rights to sign the winning singer and runner-up from each "Idol" contest to a recording contract with his label, Sony BMG, a partnership between Sony Corp and Bertelsmann.

American Idol Season 7

Dc Archuleta David Cook vs David Achuleta, which David is going to be the next American Idol? Is it going to be the American singer-songwriter and musician from Missouri where the judges love his originality towards every song he sang in the competition? OR is it going to be the young high school talented boy from Utah? Who can sing great ballad songs.

Both of this handsome dudes were born on December, Cook is on the 20th, 1982 while Achuleta is on the 28th, 1990. Can't wait for the Finale and my favourite would be Daviddddddddd.... Cook!! Go Cook, "cook" the competition with your own "recipe" and made everybody wants to "eat" again and again!! Haha.

Well, i love Achuleta as well, he is cute and innocent, hmmm... but i still prefer Cookie, ^^

Leona Lewis is a GREAT singer !!

Photobucket

Leona is the winner of The X Factor UK television talent show. Her Bleeding Love song is making my "heart bleed" as well, it is so, so nice to listen. Besides that, I had also downloaded other songs such as, A Moment Like This, Footprints In The Sand, Yesterday, Better In Time and  Whatever It Takes.

Her voice, vocal are so strong, it can go from high pitch to low pitch and never had pitching problems, even singing LIVE !!! My dad also knew her song after she sang in the America Idol 2008, I was so surprise when he heard Bleeding Love and asked me, "Is she one of Simon's recording artistes?" and i went, "YayaYa!!" "Wosh, her voice...," he said with an unbelievable look, HAHAHA.

WAY TO GO LEONA !!

During my CNY 2008

My Chinese New Year had ended really fast, just stayed at my grandparents home for 2 days 1 night due to the stuffiness, hotness of the house and also the humid bedroom, thus my parents and bros agreed to head back to KL on Thursday night. Alright, forget about the complains, let me tell you what happen during my CNY in Johor...

We left the house (KL) around 1.15pm. While on the way to JB, my elder brother burn a CD of songs in it and when my dad turned it on, oh my god... generation gap... His songs are all rap and with all the F*** word in it, i cant stand it too, my head gonna burst and i told him, "Your songs are so noisy..." Thus, my dad changed to HIS songs which are the Chinese melody songs and Buddha songs. Now its my brother's turn to get headache, hahahaha.

We reached there (JB) around 4.30pm and after off loading all the stuff from the car, we walked to the nearby shopping complex - Holiday Plaza where there were a few shops weren't closed yet and my elder brother bought a sleeveless formal jacket for 64bucks.

After loitering in the complex for about 30 minutes, we  walked home and i saw a dead rat on the road, yakkk!! It was already flattened, arghhh!! yakyakyak!! (vomit vomit...) We had our reunion dinner at 5.30pm. Before eating, we had the Low Sang session, where we had to "low" at the same time pose naturally for the camera, which is really hard. Harder than being a model, hahaha.

The dish that i love the most  was the fry taufu. I felt that my grandmother's fry taufu and lui cha were the best, lol. After eating, it is only 6pm, godddd... what are we going to do at night??!!? The TV was our best friend and this year, no blurry TV, coz my fourth uncle bought a 32inch Sony LCD all the way from China. Although there was no Astro, but the Singapore channels and some Taiwanese programmes were interesting to watch. At around 7.30pm, my third uncle came with his family for the second round reunion dinner, he brought boxes of mandarin oranges, cookies and of course firecrackers.

At around 9pm, finally there was something really interesting to watch which is The Scorpion King, my uncle turned on the sound buffer, woww... so cool, really suits the movie. Besides the movie was interesting, my uncle kept on creating jokes while watching it. There was one part where The Rock was fighting with another WWE wrestler and their swords broke when they collided together and my uncle created this dialog when The Rock looked at his broken sword... "WHAT!! Made from China??!!??" =D

12am, the time to play firecrackers, but there were already people lighting up firecrackers and fireworks before 12am, maybe their clock is faster than us, lol. My third uncle already prepared the firecrackers on the left and right side of the gate and the 2 person who is going to light were my elder brother and his son. We expect 2 firecrackers blast together, but my bro's one fail...

Thats all for New Year eve, now is about my first day of New Year...

I woke up at 8am to bath and get my hair and makeup done, you know girls take a long time to dress themselves up, haha. I put on my purple blouse and black leggings. After everybody had dressed up, I took pictures with my family members and my grandparents and off we go and visit our relatives who were waiting to give me ang paus, hahahahaha!! All together we visited 3 families, from 10am till 1.30pm. All of us were tired and hot after visiting from one house to another.

After everybody had gathered at my grandparents house, the house was even more humid, 2 ceiling fans blowing at full blast still didnt work, lol. An hour later, the adults comprises my dad, grandma, Dai Ku and San sen had their mahjong session going, the girls - Ah Ting, May Chern, May Jing, Hsing Yen and me played card games, while the guys - Elder bro, xiao uncle, Ah Hao watching TV. The others - grandpa, lil bro, third uncle (sleeping), mum was eating junkies.

Around 4.30pm, my second and third aunt came with her families. Straight away, we started clicking the camera because my third aunt and her elder daughter - Chun Xiao love taking pictures, lol. At first we 7 girls took with my xiao uncle, imagine a guy surrounded by 7 pretty girls, woooo... hahaha. xP After photo session, we continue with our card game - Chor Dai Dee without money. The loser needs to give way for the next person.  When the guys - My brothers, Ah Hao and Ah Xun rule the Chor Dai Dee circuit, we girls took another pair of gambling card and play heartattack and another version of CDD before the guys join. Heartattack was the most noisy game, there were screams and full of laughter till your cheekbone and stomach hurts, lol.

When my xiao uncle joined in and play Heartattack, he really had a heartattack, cz our reactions were faster than his and when we slammed the table shouting heartattack, all of my cousins reacted quick, except him... lol. He also had difficulties in remembering the nicknames. (=

We stopped playing at around 6.45pm because my grandma kept shouting and calling us to have dinner. She had to called us for the third time only we get our arse off from the chair, lol. After eating, i had to dump everything inside the bag and had a quick shower and head back to KL.

My dog was very quiet and let everybody pet him during his stay in Johor, but the not so good thing was, he ate rubbish... All the meat skin and leftover food in the rubbish bin he ate... He was like staying in heaven while eating those food. After reaching back home, he vomited all the food he ate in JB and had diarrhea the next day... Silly dog ~ ~ lol.

Hahhh... what a long piece of essay i had typed. Till here, Good night ^^

Gong Hee Fatt Choi

Happy Chinese New Year !! Lets welcome the year of the Rat, but not welcoming them into our home, haha.

I am heading to Johor Bahru tomorrow afternoon for the reunion dinner and most probably will be back on Friday evening, depends on the driver which is my dad.

I havent pack up my clothes yet and my fingernails are not coloured too, lol. But i've already prepared what i want to put on during the 3 days stay in my grandparents house.

This year, i am not wearing red for new year, but purple. Been very bored with the colour red all the time although it is auspicious to wear red during Chinese New Year, haha.

My lovely pet dog Maxon will have an annual holiday on every Chinese New Year by following us to Johor. He is really tame in my grandparents home, let all of my cousins pet and drag him like a soft toy, but you cant do this to him in KL, you will lost your fingers, hahaha. The firework session is his busiest time, baking non stop and hide under the car. Well, this shows that dogs are afraid of fire, haha.

Alright, thats all for now, my arse will cramp tomorrow, sitting inside the car for 3 hours with my dog in front. haha. Have a prosperous new year.

Korea Open 2008

Another "bad boy" title from the badminton arena this year. This time, he is not Taufik, but Lin Dan.

Lys_lhj It was the final day of the Korea Open - Jan 27 and the locals had 2 matches to cheer. The first match was the mixed doubles, Lee Yong Dae - Lee Hyo Jung up against the world number 4 Flandi Limpele - Vita Marissa. I managed to watch the rubber set as i woke up late that day and it was thrilling. Cant believe the Koreans won, i thought it is going to be on the hands of the Indonesians due to their ranking and experience, lol.

Zm1 Next, it was the women's singles match between Zhou Mi from Hong Kong and Lu Lan from China. Again, no winners from China in the women's singles after 2 Super Series.

Up next is the men's singles match, the most dramatic and never seen incident happened in the badminton world. In the first set, it was rather boring and the crowds were disappointed seeing their local man being beaten by Lin Dan with the humiliating score 4-21. The Korean was fired up after absorbing all the tricks and advices by his coach Li Mao, he got used to the drift in the stadium and grabbed the 2nd set. In the decider, both players landed at 20-20 and this was where the drama started. The linesman called a shuttle which was clearly out as in. Before that, there were 4 bad line calls from the linesmen which all 4 favoured the local boy and Mr Umpire from Czech overruled all 4 lines to Lin Dan. But not this time, the Umpire did not overruled and gave the match point to the Korean. 10 Lin Dan shouted at the umpire and Li Mao (Korea coach) stormed 4 out and shouted at Lin Dan which erupted Lin
Dan's temper and he threw his racquet towards Li Mao(it didnt hit him), the assistant tournament referee quickly calmed things down and picked up Lin Dan's racquet asking him to resume the game. Instead, things got even worst, both coaches were involved in the fight, shoving, pushing each other, see who is tougher, hahaha.21

6 Lin Dan even went over to Hyun Il's side and asked him whether he saw that was  clearly an out, instead of saying "yes" or "no," Hyun Il said, "it is up to the linesman," which piss Lin Dan more.

Ld 5 At one part, Lin Dan even wanted to use his racquet to hit Li Mao and his assistant, but was stopped by the tournament referee, the umpire gave Lin Dan a yellow card and the game resume. Lin Dan managed to save match point at 21-21, but in the end, his smashed did not cross the net and gave the Korea Open MS champion to Hyun Il. After that, he slammed his racquet on the ground and that poor racquet was break into half with no handle.

9 To me, i think Lin Dan did put up a great fight after receiving a yellow card and involved in that ugly scene before that, he finished the game which i think it was good instead of walking away and not to play. He even received his runners up medal which i did not expect, hahaha.

Lhi_1 It was a great comeback for Hyun Il and Zhou Mi, both were the no. 1 seed before, and i guess this title will boost their confidence to have a fight in the money with China (Lin Dan, Xie XingFang) and Malaysia (Chong Wei and Mew Choo).

Fhf_cy2 The Men's doubles was won by China's Fu HaiFeng and Cai Yun, while the women's doubles was also won by China Du Jing - Yu Yang.

January 22, 2008

Malaysia Open 2008

Lcw Lcw1 Malaysia Open had ended with a full stop on Sunday which saw Chong Wei crowned as the men's singles champion after defeating Lee Hyun Il in 3 interesting games.

While in the women's singles, Tine Rasmussen shocked the Chinese camp again, after beating defendinTr_zlg champion Zhu Lin in 3 games as well. Tine, despite twisted her ankle when she was leading 14-12 in the rubber, did not want to withdraw and continue playing her great cross court smash and net play which made her the 2008 Malaysia Open WS champion. Bravo!!

I went to the stadium on the 15th and 16th, as i had no class on these 2 days. Again, my intention is to take photos with the players by intruding the players area with my friend, Winnie. HAHA! Our first victim was Anup, the bollywood shuttle, he is still nice and sweet ^^. The funniest part was, when Winnie saw him, it was Anup from far, thus she approached him and wanted his signature, of a sudden she felt, this wasnt Anup and quickly said, "aiya, we take pic lah..." (He is actually Anup Sidrah) Cant really blame Winnie, as i thought he was Anup's friend when i looked at him the second time, coz he looked thinner than before and you know... indians look almost the same, with big round eyes and high nose, lol ~

After that, Winnie compared the pic of Anup 5 months ago with the pic she just captured, the shape of his face - Same, the way he put his hand on our shoulder - Same and the last thing we saw, the way he hold his hp - Same. So both of us confirm that this is ANUP!! We purposely sat at the back of the players seats coz we want to approach Anup again to sign on Winnie's picture, and when he moved near us, Winnie called him, "Anup, sign for me..."  While signing the pic, i asked him, "Why are you so skinny till we cant recognise you..." And he was kindda shocked, "Me?? Skinny?? No, its FIT" swt ~ After that, he sign on his handsome face and i suddenly reacted really big, "Eh!! Why you sign on your face!!" Then he was like.. "aiyoo.. sorry..." lol.

The qualifying rounds werent that syoik obviously, but i still managed to take a picture with Lydia, Boon Heong, Fairuz, Zakry, Rexy, Rashid and Tadashi. We actually met quite a number of players, but we dare not approached, as they looked kindda unfriendly... hmmm... Boon Heong was very handsome without his jersey, he spike his slightly golden hair and wearing that black nike shoes with white shorts, kindda casual "IN." hahaha.

Imgp5230a Imgp5238aOn the 2nd day, it was more fun as most of the top players were there. We witnessed some interesting matches, for example, the XD match between Razif La tif and his partner beat Howard Bach and Eva Lee of the USA in a sudden death game 30-29. Imgp5300aAfter that,Imgp5290a kk-bh's match against Imgp5295a Imgp5299a Joko-Hendra from INA was also another thrilling and entertaining match, where kk fall down 3 times and still managed to grab the point, all of the spectators were shouting in excitement. But they booed and shouted at kk-bh when they lose points, which was really piss off as it may affect their confidence and game. Next, will be Taufik agai nst Park Sung Hwan, another "wow" match which saw Taufik luckily scraped through to the next round. The veteran - unseeded Chong Ming-Choon Eng also performed a great game against the seeded Hwang JiMan and Lee JaeJin by beating them in 3 sets. Imgp5303aImgp5270aImgp5271aThe match between Chong Wei and Hafiz were also quite  entertaining, as the yoyo king Hafiz, played a great match against Chong Wei, showing signs he wanted to throw the yoyo away, lol.

On this day, i took photos with Yip Pui Yin, Razif, Chong Imgp5284a Ming, Mew Choo, ChongImgp5287a Wei, Taufik, Yong Dae and last but not least, the most important person to me, Kien Keat !!! Weeeee... This time, i am not that nervous while standing beside him , haha.

I also met a new friend there, she was Winnie's baddy friend call Alice. She applied leaves to watch MO, can you believe it??!!? Look how important Cai Yun is to her, lo l. She is a very funny girl, she can make you laugh like an orang gila, although she didnt do anything, or maybe you can say i shock sendiri, laughed till i am in tears, god... I really wish she could send me the pic she took with Kien Keat, it w as... the funniest pic i've seen in my life. Thinking about it, i can laugh again, lol.

Overall, i am quite satisfy, at least i get to take photos with the players i did not take during WC, the best was, another Kien Keat's pic, hahaha.

Although kk-bh lost in the 3rd round, but i still think they are great, they can do it with BH building his  confidence and force himself to relax, keep it cool dud...

Next leg... the KorImgp5204aImgp5202a_2ea Open 22-2Imgp5250a7th JaImgp5248aImgp5275an. Imgp5259a_1Imgp5315aImgp5297a

2008

2007 had passed so quickly. I am now a year 2 degree student, wau wau wau... The memories of 2005 till 2007 were still fresh in my mind, sometimes i thought i am still studying in foundation, lol.

Life started to change after finishing form 5, i had so many ups and downs while entering the second part of my life. First, worried about my future, what am i going to study, what do i want to work as, then received my spm result was another stressful day, worrying whether i have enough credits to continue my foundation in UTAR. After knewing that i had passed those stages, i had to learn driving, the worst months i had in 2006!!

Im my mind i really want to drive, coz i feel driving is cool. After going through those driving sessions and training, goddd, it was not really that cool than i thought. The first few driving lessons were tough, coz i dont know how to control that damn clutch, and when the car started to jerk, i will panic, deng ~ I still remember that ass hole malay guy laughed at me in his car when my car jerks, stupid fella, i am already frighten he still gave me that stupid look ! Dont make me laugh at your child next time, jahanam !!

After i got my license, i had a tough time in my first year degree. No close friends and degree is much tougher, not like a piece of cake during foundation. But now i make some good crazy friends, the closest is definitely Mei Sim, same name, same interest, same style but different idols, lol.

Another half of 2007 were fill with fun and laughter. The best was of course i went to bukit jalil and took many memorable pictures, get to know new crazy friends from there, and having 3 months Uni break. It was also the best sales assistant job i work for, coz i get to earn thousand plus a month. Wheee....

Before the end of 2007, my elder brother graduated and my younger brother scored 8As in his PMR. My mum's ah kao from Hong Kong came to Malaysia and visited us after for so many many years. The last time my mum met him was when she was a baby, so you can imagine how long it is and how emotional the situation can be, lol.

As for this year 2008, i didnt think of any resolutions, still the same old thing, pass all my papers and proceed to the final year. This month, i am going for the Malaysia Open and hope there will be some excitements, ^^

Happy new year !!

Outings during the holidays

33Family16 December 07 - I went to 1 Utama that day with my 4 highschool closest friends, never went out with them for almost 3 months, due to different Unis or colleges, while some were busy working.

FoodWe went there for a karaoke in Neway. It was so comfortable and luxurious, the air condition was so cold, there was a toilet attached, we dont have to get out of the room to look for the washroom, big Tv, big room with 4 microphones. But the food sarks... Kimberly ordered a porridge for me. The ingredients in this bowl of porridge were a type of kacang like bake beans, a hard hard tasteless thing, "salted vegetable" this is the worst, it makes the porridge so salty and when it is not hot, you feel like vomitting when you put inside your mouth. The first few scoop was ok, when it reaches the lower part of the bowl, "oh my goddd ~ " can fired the cook immediately. The most delicious was "yau zha kuai" thats all...

The not so good thing in Neway was, they kick you out of the room when it is time. We usually go to Sg Wang Redbox and they gave us 3 hours, but there were a few times, we sang more than 3 hours, they allowed us to sing till our voice dried up. And there were no english songs in Neway, only mandarin songs and Kimberly kept selecting Rynn Lin's songs until i fall in love with Rynn and his songs, hahaha !! xP3a

After karaoke, we went for a movie and the earliest movie was "The Heart Break Kid" - 410pm. It was a very very funny plus horny movie, we were given the middle seats row G and there were not many people watching, nobody sitting in front of us, we were like the first row. So the 2 guys and Kimberly put their legs in front and this Kimmy, she was wearing skirt that day, haha.

After that, Kimberly and her sister had to leave as her mother came and picked them up and left the 4 of us in the building. We cant find our way out and we had to ask security every floor we went, until my slipper broke again!! arghh... Thank god, Ting bought a new slippers and she let me wore it, felt really sorry for wearing her new slipper first before she get to wear it. Ruin my day mann... stupid ~ ~ First time wear it and broken already, ishhhh...

And today, i went down to Times Square for lonely shopping again, as you know, it is year end sales. The clothes and shoes were really cheap, i bought a pair of slippers (hopefully it wont break again), a formal scarf, 5 blouses and a stocking. My closet is gonna burst, i think it is already burst, ^^

Alright till here, need to save when Uni starts next month, gonna save to upgrade my handphone and Malaysia Open tickets, Kien Keat i am coming again !! haha.

Brother's Convocation

Graduationa 15 December 07 - That day was my elder brother's biggest day in education after studying for 3 years, he finally received his Diploma in Animation from Dasein Academy Of Art and the convocation venue was held in K Klub. The club that located very, very near my home. 5 minutes walk, drive dont have to say, its even faster, haha.

My bro was very very excited definitely, he was all smiles and laughing during that day. The night before, he went for a hair cut, shave his baby moustache and stay up late to have a drink with his friend. My mum told him not to sleep late, so that he wont look so dead during his convo, but he never listens.

Only my mother and I made it to his convocation, my dad had meetings that day while my younger brother, he doesnt cares. He only cares his online computer game, chatting and laughing with the monitor...

Before that, my brother didnt want us to attend, he kept saying it is a very cheap convo and nobody brings their parents...etc. In the end, he made up his mind and asked us to go. So we bought a medium size specky graduation bear for him. And now that teddy bear is sleeping with him.

It wasnt really cheap like what he said, many of them received bears and flowers, it looked kindda grand. But the show performances prepared by the students are really really cheap, sorry to say that. Everybody had a question mark on their head after the show, asking each other "Finish already??" "Like this only...??"  And the female emcee, her english is not broken, but it is unclear and not fluent. You will get frustrated easily because you want to listen, but it is unclear and you will frown your eyebrows, causing headache, lol.

The monkey group was definitely my brother's gang. Each and every one of them went up the stage, they will shout and scream like nobody's business, haha. The most crazy one is this guy called Ah Phang, he ran up the stage so quickly, the person in front of him was still posing for the photographers and he went up and destroy it, lol. And he wants to look cool that day, thus he didnt put on his glasses and his mortar board kept falling because of his long hair causes not enough grip on his hair. Thats the reason he ran up the stage before his mortar board fall, swt ~ ~

Our digital camera sent for repair, so it wasnt really fun, as we dont have a camera, thanks to my lil brother ~ We stayed there for around 4 hours and i was so hungry as i didnt take my breakfast. My mum woke me up at 745am and arrived there at 830am. By 130pm, i am so hungry. Quickly made a cup of oth meal, the fastest food, haha.

One day, i will be wearing this gaun and mortar board, wait for me... haha ^^

Friendster Frustration

I am damn freaking frustrated of 'Friendster' now, i cant log into my account and it kept flashing a blank page and saying, "Cannot find whatever crap file..." I've tried clicking the refresh button for i dont know how many shitty times and the result is still the SAME!! Typed the site address again and it gave me the same page as well, so damn piss off !!

I thought there is no line and i check my modem, it is ok. So i try going to other sites such as, google, blogspot, yahoo, msn... FINE. Only this stupid dumb ass site show me, cannot find this file, whatta crap you cannot find this file...

Ok, maybe Friendster line is busy, they should know there are millions of people signing up this site and whats with all the maintenance stuff??

Friends sending mails saying Friendster is closing, asking me to send to how many friends before my account will be deleted and stuff like that, why dont you just delete those people who has account 2,3,4,5... AND it is the same old freakin person. What so great of having 1000 friends and open another account and "THE BEST THING IS" they add the same friends again...

And and... of the 1000 friends in their list, they only knew half or not even half of them, others are to show off, "Wow.. i have 999 friends," (arberden...  - -lIl )

Those who read this and you think i offended you, i apologise, coz i've been having this problem for a few days and started to be very grumpy, thus just want to ease my frustration here, no hard feelings... peace V

Working at Miss T Jusco

Oct 16 Tuesday - It is already 1 week while working in Miss T outlet at Jusco and today, i have an off day, really make use of this day to sleep and do some mask on my face.

It is really tired and i feel like quitting after 3-4 days, but i didnt do that coz i dont want people to look down on me. My legs were so 'weak' when i came home and my feet really need cold water to make it 'alive' again. But i feel i did lose some weight (that is what i want, lol) because i got to stand for 8-10 hours for 6 days and i dont have proper dinner.

There are interesting and frustrating things happening there too, the most piss off incident was, i met a Johorian customer, she is a rich lady, skinny and dye her long curly hair gold, overall she looks like a prostitute farker mother bitch. She said that i am 'deaf,' whatta fark!! It was during Raya and Jusco had some stupid noisy bands and music screaming shouting outside and we have our own Raya song too, so it was really damn noisy.

She called me "xiao mei," Excuse me, i thought you are calling your daughter man, i was entertaining a customer and you stand far away from me, how do you expect me to hear you by calling me 'xiao mei!!!" And she asked me in mandarin what brand is this. But she uses the chinese word "biao" not "pai zhi," so i dont know what the heck she is talking as my chinese standard is not really high and KL people DONT say this, com' on!! So i ignore her and she said "i am asking you lehh?" I was so piss off and i asked her back, "What "PAI ZHI" is it?!!" Then she said, "ahh, what pai zhi.." Stupid, come into what shop also dont know, thats why i dont really like my aunts in Johor, the way they talk really one kind and rude, rich lady very great harr, walk a few steps and pok kai lahh!! sei 8po !!!

Lets talk something more entertaining, but it makes me mad too, there were 2 young ladies, wearing formal with a black hand carry bag came into the shop, that time i was alone while my senior was in the store room having her lunch and she spoke to me with mandarin and english mix, and her english is not clear, she asked "qing wen ni de 'bosx' zai ma?" I thought she was looking for a box to wrap present and i pointed to the floor saying, "There are different sizes of boxes there..." She looked at the floor blur, and she speaks again, this time all english, "No, i mean is your BOSS here?" Then i gave her a sign look and stare at her, "Ohh, boss harr, hold on..." I was really mad coz it makes me look so stupid that i cant differentiate "box" and "boss" !! When i told my senior, we actually had a great laugh, because those 2 manglish ladies wanted to ask our boss to buy insurance and EPF stuff which our boss trying to ignore them...

Unfortunately, i fall sick today, i had a sore throat, but i still can talk, its just that the throat is kindda painful and irritating, showing a bad sign. So my mum made a cup of apple cider, hopefully it will be ok by tomorrow because i need my voice to speak to the customer, if not i will lost my commission.

4 more weeks to go !!! I cant wait to quit!!! lol, working at my previous sales assistant job in Isetan KLCC for Fila was much more fun because i dont have to mop and sweep the floor in the morning and wait for my supervisor to count the nett sales and close the shop only can leave. There are janitors vacuum and sweep the floor in KLCC and it close on time, while working in an outlet, sometimes there are still customers in the shop and it is really frustrating...

And also, in KLCC, the customers there are more polite and educated, no bitch!! If lucky get to meet some good looking foreigners or celebs, lol...alright till here, gotto sleep...night^^ (forgive for speaking fault words)

End Of Year 1 in Degree

Sept 25, 07 - Finish my last paper - Literature and now i have a 3 months holiday, woOoo!! Happy Happy, no books for this 3 months!!

After i finished my paper at 1130am, we told each other that "we will meet next year!" - Goodbye my friends its hard to die - Seasons in the Sun by Westlife, lol...

I went Time Square straight after finishing my paper and i bought 2 Tees, a short jacket, a bag, a purse and a cute bagde to pin my jacket. Now, i am use to shop alone, last time, i always drag a friend along, more and more independent now, yeahh!! ^^

At 2pm, my friend who is working near Time Square came and look for me after finishing her lunch, we've never met for 2-3 months and she actually slim down and more feminine. Usually her voice is loud and the way she walked is rough, NOW, So Girlie!! good sign good sign...

I took the train back around 3pm to avoid the jam pack train after 4pm i guess, as you know, puasa month and later went to the market with my mum and that fruit seller tauke (my mum always buy fruits from him) make fun of me, lol...

He said, "Ah moi!" I stared at him, he was shocked and asked my mum, "Anak aunty ke?" My mum replied, "yealah" "Patutlah sangat leng macam mak!" he said. Then my mum shoot back, "you jangan kacau anak saya, nanti dia takut tak mau teman saya datang lagi!" The tauke said, "aiyaa, janganlah, teman mak lain kali, tak banyak leng ah moi tengok kat sini!" "Nanti kena culik macam Nurin ohh!" my mum said and this fruit seller uncle said... It was so funny... "Nurin kecik mahh, anak awak besar, bagi dia satu tumbuk!!" Wahh, everybody near the stall laughed so loud and those aunties looked at me before leaving, malunyaaa...

And after my mum and i gonna leave, he said this "Ah moi! Datang lagi yeaa!!" I ignored him, scary ~ ~ ~ Although i dont know whether he is calling my mum or me ah moi datang lagi...lol

My calves are cramp now, walked and stand too long and very sleepy, my eyes are half open... Most probably meeting the hair stylist tomorrow.

My other plans for these days are, give my bedroom a makeover, wash my clothes and jeans, clean the study room, bungkus the notes, learn to drive again after stopping for 3 months, search for jobs... PLAY BADMINTON!! i miss badminton very very much, i think my sport shoes had cracked, didnt wear for 2 years, lol...

But now, i need to SLEEP, restless nights during that 3 weeks... Happy Holidays peepz ^^

Last week of the semester

August 30, 07 - It was the last week of the semester and also the end of my year 1 in degree, time flies really fast, one blink another day has pass...

We watched movies during the last 2 days, the first movie we watched was on Wednesday in the media room. It was about the May 13 and Adam's thingy in 1987. After watching it, i actually understand better about what had happened and the reasons of the May 13 incidents and 1987 as i wasnt born during that time. Everytime i heard people saying, "Dont be like the May 13 incident.." I will be quite blur although i know it is something about racist...
